LIKE IN A FILM: AN EVENING WITH CLAUDIO BISIO AND MASSIMO CIRRI
With readings by Gigio Alberti taken from The talent of the disappeared (Feltrinelli)
“I'm very precocious. Just think, I learned to write long before I learned to read. In fact, I was writing and asking myself: what the fuck did I write?“. The love for paradoxical irony has always characterized Claudio Bisio's artistic production: if today, when we talk about cabaret, we immediately think of the Zelig in Milan, it is also thanks to his activity as a comedian, actor and presenter (Zanzibar, Mai say goals, Turné, Mediterraneo, Puerto Escondido...). But, as the opening line jokingly demonstrates, writing is an equally constant presence in his long career. Having experimented with the paper medium since the 1990s, Bisio returns to think about the joys and pains of acting life, in the irreverent way that distinguishes him, with the recent novel The talent of the disappeared (Feltrinelli). After having made the entire Piazza Castello smile, as a guest in 1998 at Festivaletteratura together with Daniel Pennac, Claudio Bisio returns to Mantua, to tell his story to the public in the now usual membership party at the end of the year, where on the stage of the Teatro Sociale he will dialogue with the friend Massimo Cirri, accompanied by readings by Gigio Alberti.
